Low-lying coastal zones are home to around 10% of the world’s population and many megacities. Coastal largely vulnerable dynamics natural human-induced changes. Accurate large-scale measurements key parameters, such as bathymetry, needed understand predict However, nearly 50% waters remain unsurveyed for a large number areas interest, bathymetric information is unavailable or often decades old.
